Any fit caveats with the vest-style straps?

They fit close to the body and are less forgiving of builds outside the intended range than conventional shoulder straps — broad or barrel chests should try before buying. The back length is fixed: Deuter sizes it for a 44-54 cm (17-21 in) back and 170-195 cm body height, so check that range before buying.

Could it stretch to a light overnight?

Only just — the 6-10 kg (13-22 lb) rating is honest but modest, so an overnight works only with a genuinely dialed ultralight kit. It is designed as a fastpacking and big-day-objective pack first.

How durable is the lightweight fabric?

The 120D recycled ripstop is the weight-saving compromise: fine for trails and light scrambling, but it will not tolerate much rock abrasion or heavy brush. Treat it as a moving-fast pack, not a haul-anything pack, and note no raincover is included.

Is it worth $55 more than the regular Speed Lite 21?
