Deuter Speed Lite Pro 25
The Speed Lite Pro takes the Speed Lite's weight target and adds a vest-style harness: perforated shoulder straps with pockets, hip fin pockets, and a LiteAir skeleton structure that restores load capacity to 10 kg. At 680 g for 25 L it is the closest thing in Deuter's range to a fastpacking pack.

Pros

- ✗The LiteAir panel sits against the back, so it ventilates worse than Aircomfort despite the perforations.
- ✗The 30 L has no published weight.
- ✗Vest-style straps fit closely and are less forgiving of a build outside the intended range.
- ✗6-10 kg is still modest if the pack is used for a light overnight.
- ✗Bear-canister fit is not stated by Deuter.
