Gregory Backpacks

The Paragon 60 replaced the long-running Paragon 58 in Gregory's 2025 lineup, adding the FreeFloat suspension from the Baltoro in a pack that's more than a pound lighter. It targets the sweet spot between comfort haulers and ultralight packs. The women's version is the Maven 58.

The Zulu LT is the lightened version of Gregory's ventilated day pack, using the VaporSpan suspended panel that holds the pack off the back. At 2.3 lb for 24 L it trades some weight for airflow, which is the same bargain Osprey's Stratos makes at a similar price.

The Deva is the women's-fit Baltoro and Gregory's heavy hauler. Its Response A3W suspension auto-adjusts to the wearer's movement, and the 60 lb manufacturer load rating is the highest of any women's pack in this catalog. It includes a rain cover, which most packs at this price do not.

The Jade is the women's counterpart to the Zulu day line, at 28 L and built on the same 400D polyester ripstop and suspended ventilated panel. It is the largest women's daypack in this catalog, sitting between a day pack and a light overnight carry.

The Maven is the women's-fit Paragon and the pack that most gear roundups name as the best all-round women's backpacking pack. At 3.5 lb it sits between the overbuilt Deva and the ultralight Facet, which is why it wins comparisons on balance rather than on any single number.

The Amber is Gregory's value women's pack and the counterpart to the men's Stout. It runs an unusually deep size ladder for a budget line -- 34, 44, 54 and 68 L -- and is one of the few packs in the catalog explicitly confirmed to fit a bear canister both vertically and horizontally.

The Zulu is Gregory's ventilated three-season pack, sitting below the Paragon in price and above the Stout in refinement. Four inches of torso adjustment across two frame sizes and a hipbelt spanning 27 to 51 inches make it one of the more accommodating packs in the catalog.
